We are  happy to announce that the next Dakhleh Oasis Project Conference will be held at

 

Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland 

from the  6th to 8th July 2015.

 

The subject will be  

Archaeology of the Egyptian Western Desert: New Ideas and Concepts.

All the researchers attached to archaeological projects in the Western Desert and its Oases, and also all those merely interested in the above topic will again meet together to exchange new ideas and information resulting from the most recent archaeological research.

 

Please, let us know as soon as possible if you would be able to attend and whether you wish to present a paper or poster. If so, it would be greatly appreciated if you could send a working title of your presentation, together with an abstract of no more than 250 words.  In order to do that please proceed to Registration form and abstracts tab available on the site.

The official languages of the conference will be English. The length of the presentations will be decided according to the number of speakers, but will be at least 15-20 minutes.
